Here's a small sample of what our clients think of our service:

The Annan team have been our lawyers since about 2002 when we needed help with a rural subdivision. Since then they’ve helped with a variety of issues, one in particular was sorting out my parents estate. The lawyers my parents had chosen had left a bit of a tangle but Philip and Amanda sorted it out for us.

One thing I appreciate is that when they explain your options to you they don’t use legal jargon, you get the message in laymans terms so you really understand.

You probably know by now that Annan Law is a small, family run business, but you might not know is that when you become a client you become a part of that family too. That’s why we recommended them to people all the time.

- Tony Parkes, Tauranga

AnnanLaw have been great companions on the journey to becoming new home owners and now new parents.

Prompt and friendly communication as well as accessibility are qualities of this practice which we value immensely. They talked us through banking, LIM reports, insurance as well as council rates. Definitely going the extra mile to ensure we gained full understanding of our circumstances and options.

We have always been given genuine, unbiased legal advice which is why we will continue with AnnanLaw in making provisions for our children.

- Marcus and Leilani Hipa, Auckland

AnnanLaw have acted for me on a variety of matters for more than 15 years and continue to do so. I would have no hesitation in recommending their legal services.

I have found them astute, reliable and well considered in the advice received over a number of issues. They are also very caring.

- Jenny Coker, Tauranga

I have been with AnnanLaw now for some time and have got to know Philip very well.

I have found an excellent service from the helpful team with good understanding of what needs to happen, helpful advice, reminders if required and timely action for transactions, settlements and lodging documents etc.

I have no hesitation in recommending the team at AnnanLaw for any legal assistance.

A few years ago we were questioning the costs of gifting to our trust each year with our then lawyer when my accountant advised it would cost considerably less if she did the gifting.

This prompted a change of lawyer and one of the trustees. I am happy to say that we selected AnnanLaw as our lawyers who changed the trustees and various other requirements of the trust.

We found AnnanLaw to be very helpful, courteous and reasonable in all their charges, so much so we have recommended their services to our friends and others ever since.

- Lindsay Titmus, Tauranga

Having referred my parents to Philip Annan around 1996 to place their home into a family trust they received impeccable service that negated any need to consult with any other law firm for legal matters.

When Dad passed on the trust details were amended accordingly in a professional and compassionate manner as was the sale of the family home when Mum moved into a rest home.

They are always available to provide quick friendly advice on menial matters and are a pleasure to work with.

This service continues in the same manner nearly 20 years on and I have no hesitation in recommending AnnanLaw to anyone looking for a law firm who act in a diligent and professional matter.

We bought a house in Mount Maunganui during the 2014/2015 Christmas period and needed a lawyer quickly as we were heading back home to the South Island.

Most firms were closed over this period so we were very happy to get in contact with AnnanLaw. Krythia Scott was fantastic and did all the work required for purchasing a house with ease and efficeincy.

We have been very happy with the service provided and the great communication about all aspects of the sale.

We would highly recommend the firm as they have delivered on everything they said they would and as we live in the South Island there were never any issues. Thanks for the great work.

We have been privileged to have our legal work handled by Philip for a number of years now and have had no reservation in recommending his services to our own clients. Philip's extensive knowledge of the law is impressive and his eye for detail is matched by his warm and understanding personality. Philip is uncompromising in his personal and professional ethics and we are pleased to recommend him to others.

- Paul and Heather Norrish, Tauranga

Annan Law have been our solicitors since moving into Tauranga in 2003. All the contact and help received has been extremely good and cordial. More recently they handled the sale of our property in Tauranga and the purchasing of a property in Cambridge in the Waikato.

- Barry and Barbara Hogan, Cambridge

I live and work in the South Island, so why do I use a Tauranga based law firm? Because I trust them implicitly, from a long association. They are straightforward, approachable and they have a sense of humour. My father used Annan Law, and I have with them since the 1970’s. Using them for estate planning, property purchase and settlement, and unfortunately divorce also. They made sure the family trust stayed intact, but also they acted responsibly for both parties. We also have a close and personal relationship with the partners as they are both discreet and professional in all matters. Time and time again I have found them to be trustworthy and their office staff are also efficient and courteous, and those I dealt with had a sense of humour. What more could you ask for?

- Richard Carbon, Christchurch

Annan Law have acted on our behalf in farming, business, trusts, council and Government agencies. At all times they have been professional and exceedingly helpful with their advice and co-operation. It gives us peace of mind regarding our legal issues, and they are a pleasure to work with.

- Frank and Avril Rose, Mount Maunganui

The Annan Law team helped me sort out an estate, to which I had been appointed a trustee and executor for a Danish friend living in New Zealand, but who had no family here. There was a Will in place, but not signed by a solicitor. It also contained a few discrepancies, which had to be rectified to be legal before we could apply for Grant of Probate. In terms of property there was an Auckland home, a car, personal loan, IRD to deal with, an accountant, a Work and Income pension, various bank accounts, and outstanding household bills like rates, power, insurance etc to day, plus funeral expenses also, which all needed dealing with.

The best thing about using Annan Law was the explaining of everything I need to know in a very helpful manner. They also estimated the cost of the estate settlement in advance so I could inform the family in Denmark. Everyone in the team was very kind, polite and very helpful, and kept me well informed along the way on any changes or extra costs involved. I felt they took extremely good care of everything, all legal matters were covered and all the deceased invoices, bills and loans were paid. Because of their duty to detail I am more than happy to use Annan Law for the purpose of finalising my own will and any other legal matters in the future.

- Vibeke Frolund, Tauranga

The service we received from Geoff was amazing. His listening skills, caring nature, very thorough and nothing was ever a problem. That's why we have used his services again and again.

- Maurice and Cheryl Southorn, Mount Maunganui

My parents, my husband and myself have been clients of AnnanLaw for a number of years. We have always received extremely valuable advice from Philip and his team. They err on the side of caution in any situation and always ensure that we as clients have all the knowledge required to make informed decisions.

- Paul and Bernice Wadsworth & Audrey Mathews, Tauranga

AnnanLaw have been our trusted law firm for the past 19 years. It doesn't matter if we do not have any legal dealings with them for one, two or even five years, should I call them for any reason, they still know who I am - and that matters! In all our dealings with AnnanLaw, we have been served with professionalism and discretion. We have the utmost confidence in this firm and have always recommended them to friends.

- Barry and Meri Low, Tauranga

I have always found AnnanLaw's advice and service very helpful to me. I have mainly dealt with Philip and Amanda and feel very comfortable with them and am happy with the advice and help they have given me.

- Florence Cranch, Tirau

- Trevor Wilkinson, Tauranga

Philip and his team have been our solicitors since 2001, acting on behalf of our family trust, business and property deals. We always appreciate that they explain everything very clearly and on one occasion we saved thousands of dollars because of a carefully formulated clause on a property deal. We recommend Annanlaw to everyone we know.

- Bruno and Gabi Buechel, Tauranga

Last year I was notified by a debt collection agency that I owed a very large sum of money that the company I used to be part owner in incurred but had since ceased to operate. I was sure I wasn't liable however had no idea how to go about proving it. The team at AnnanLaw helped me to prove that I didn't owe the money which I would never have been able to do on my own. They were very sympathetic and non judgemental as well as friendly and always contacted me back if they were unavailable. I found them professional and easy to deal with through quite a worrying time and I would definitely recommend them for any legal matters that may arise to friends and family.

- Kerryn Mills, Tauranga

AnnanLaw have helped us with our family Trust set up and the sale and purchase of properties. We have very much appreciated the prompt responses to phone calls and the great advice they have given us. When you're entering into legalities that are new to you, lack of knowledge can be very dangerous. Philip and Krythia have looked out for us as we've gone through the processes and made sure we were aware of any potential hazards and advised us accordingly. Great people, great service.
